A deeply rooted song honoring the feminine, strength, lineage, and the spirit of womanhood. This is one of the most requested pieces inside my community — and this class offers a gentle, embodied way to learn it through rhythm, voice, and presence.
This 90-minute playback guides you slowly through the song, making it accessible while leaving space for depth and feeling. You can move at your own pace, revisit the teachings, and return to the song whenever you need.
In this class you will:
✨ Explore basic finger and voice exercises to prepare your body and instrument
✨ Learn the melody and structure of Farafina Mousso
✨ Learn rhythm variations on the Kamele Ngoni (beginner–intermediate friendly)
✨ Learn the song breakdown slowly so you will be able to sing and play it
No experience necessary. Only a willingness to listen, feel, and learn
This class will be taught on a 12-string Kamele Ngoni, tuned to D minor pentatonic with A as the root note. If you play a 10-string or 14-string, you can follow along — I will offer small adjustments for both variations during class.
Send me an email if you have difficulties with tuning.
This course is for you if you’re longing to connect with the feminine through music,
to learn a song with depth and meaning, and to do so in your own time and rhythm.
Come sing with me — may we remember the quiet power that lives inside us as women.
